I grew up in Phenix City, Alabama, spending a lot of time alone—just me, a stack of VHS tapes, DVDs. and a deep love for the local video store.
I didn’t study film in the traditional sense. I just watched it.
Over and over again.
Not for technique—but for the feeling.
I was drawn to the experience of it all—the escape, the immersion, the idea that one day, something I created could live on a screen like that. That stayed with me, even as I explored different interests and paths along the way.
I’ve always been a bit of a jack of all trades. I’ve moved in and out of different creative spaces—but somehow, film always found its way back into my life.
That path eventually led me to capturing interviews and real-life stories.
And that’s when something clicked.
I realized that everyone is living their own version of a movie—full of highs, lows, tension, growth, and meaning. Stories weren’t just something on a screen. They were already happening all around me.
From that point on, my focus shifted.
I wasn’t just capturing footage—I was learning how to connect with people, how to listen, and how to help bring out the stories they already carried within them in a way that could resonate with others.
At the same time, I never lost my love for imaginative storytelling.
I’ve always been drawn to stories that push beyond reality—worlds, ideas, and emotions that feel bigger than life. But instead of separating those interests, I started blending them.
That’s where my style was born.
Today, my work lives between reality and imagination.
I document real people, real lives, and real experiences—shaping them into cinematic stories that feel grounded, honest, and human.
Alongside that, I create original films that make the extraordinary feel real—using a docustyle approach to explore deeper ideas through metaphor and genre-blending.
Whether real or (re)imagined, I approach every story the same way:
Make it feel real. Make it feel human. Make it connect.
London Mahogany Productions (LMP) is how I continue that work—creating stories that invite people to reflect, connect, and sometimes escape.
Because at the end of the day…
I’m still just someone who fell in love with the feeling of a story—
and decided to chase it.
