DOCUMENTARIES

Short, interview-driven documentaries built around real people, meaningful conversations, and cinematic visuals.

Sometimes the best stories begin with a conversation.

I direct short documentaries centered around interviews with real people and the experiences, organizations, communities, and ideas that matter to them.

Rather than simply recording an interview, I work to uncover the story within the conversation and build the film around it.

My process combines meaningful interviews with intentional visuals to create short films that feel personal, cinematic, and human.

My APPROACH

Each documentary begins with understanding the story.

From there, I take the creative lead in determining how that story should be told—from the interview and visual approach to the structure, pacing, and final edit.

Depending on the project, I may work completely independently or bring in a small crew when additional production support is necessary.

The goal isn't to make the production bigger than it needs to be.

The goal is to tell the story well.

WHO I WORK WITH

I partner with organizations, nonprofits, community initiatives, businesses, and everyday people who have meaningful stories worth sharing.

These films can help:

  • Share personal stories and experiences

  • Demonstrate impact

  • Preserve someone's story or legacy

  • Introduce the people behind an organization or mission

  • Help audiences understand why something matters

  • Inspire people to care, give, participate, or get involved
